One of a kind. This medieval sword is close to the type Xa according to the tipology of Oakeshott, it remained fashionable among the warriors from the eleventh century to the 13th. Blunt, worn looking blade, with acurate point, has narrow fuller and a bolster forged on it.

This medieval sword is close to the type Xa according to the tipology of Oakeshott, it remained fashionable among the warriors from the eleventh century to the 13th. Blunt, worn looking blade, with acurate point, has narrow fuller and a bolster forged on it

  • Hand forged, fully tempered high carbon steel looking aged. Length 31.89″, thickness after bolster 0.22″
  • Handle has wooden scales wrapped in steel wire braid; large mushroom shaped pommel, straight cross guard with rounded tips
  • Overall 39.37″, weight 4lb 11oz
  • Black painted pine wood sheath has buffalo horn mouth, iron band and hanging ring
