A very nice Tanto with hand forged 1075 carbon steel blade has grooves, true differential clay quenching, traditional Japanese stone polishing. Black lacquer Saya ( Scabbard ) with ostrich leg leather inlay. Fully removable. Entirely handmade by Citadel.

This beautiful Tanto is a unique piece.

  • Moto haba: 31mm
  • Hamon Gunome.
  • Mune Iori
  • Double habaki copper and bras, forged on the blade.
  • Iron Tsuba, brass Seppas
  • Jackwood Tsuka covered with off-white Same, Ineri maki Japanese silk braiding (The silk cord that braids the handle was purposely antiqued), bamboo Mekugi, Alloy Menuki, fuchi and kashira salt bronzes, engraved. Brass Ito Dome. Length 143mm.
  • Jackwood Saya, black lacquer with ostrich leg. Koigushi, Kojiri and Kurigata made of buffalo horn, Shito Dome in brass.
  • Total length 430mm, weight 484gr.
