A  beautiful Tanto with hand forged blade, true differential clay quenching, traditional Japanese stone polishing. Black lacquer Saya ( Scabbard ) with ostrich leg leather inlay. Tsuka is wrapped by white same, big scale. Fully removable, entirely handmade by Citadel.

This beautiful Tanto is a unique piece.

  • 1075 carbon steel hand forged, clear and visible temper line.
  • Nagasa 260mmn
  • Kassane 6mm
  • Moto haba 31mm
  • Copper Habaki, engraved fitted on the blade. Reinforced by a bronze sheet.
  • Polished and blackened iron Tsuba, Hamidashi type with Kozuka Itsu
  • Tsuka length 144mm, jackwood wrapped in white same high quality grain with big scale. Tsuka Ito is black japanese silk braid in Ineri Maki style. Bamboo Meguki. Alloy menuki, fushi-kashira pure iron, salt bronzes, engraved. Ito Dome are made with a double leaf filed brass
  • Seppas : filed brass
  • Saya is non silicous jackwood, black lacquer with ostrich leg leather inlay. Koigushi, Kojiri, Kurigata are water buffalo horn
  • Length total 430mm. Weight 506gr
