A beautiful and elegant tanto, hand forged 1075 carbon steel blade with grooves, true differential clay quenching and traditional stone poslishing. Saya partially covered with sting rayskin, the rest is structured black lacquer. Entirely hand made by Citadel.

An exception beautiful tanto. Unique piece.

  • Handmade and hand forged 1075 steel blade.
  • Nagasa 263mm.
  • Kassane 5.5mm.
  • Moto haba 30mm.
  • Copper habaki forged on the blade.
  • Pure iron tsuba, fuchi and kashira, salt bronzes, engraved.
  • Seppas : guilloches brass. Itodome and shitodome : double brass.
  • Tsuka in jackfruit wood, length 143mm, fully wrapped by rayskin and braided in Japanese silk. Brass menukis.
  • Beautiful and very elegant saya made by jackfruit wood, partially covered with rayskin, the rest is black structured black lacquer.
  • Water buffalo horn koiguchi, kurigate and kojiri.
  • Total length 430mm. Weight 442gr.
  • Fully removable.

Delivered in its silk sleeve and its transport case.
