A beautiful tanto, hand forged 1075 carbon steel blade with grooves, true differential clay quenching and traditional stone poslishing. Saya partially covered with sting rayskin, the rest is structured black lacquer. Entirely hand made by Citadel.

A beautiful tanto with grooved blade and double habaki.

  • Handmade and hand forged 1075 steel blade.
  • Nagasa 261mm.
  • Kassane 5mm.
  • Moto haba 30mm.
  • Double habaki copper and bras, forged on the blade.
  • Pure iron tsuba, fuchi and kashira, salt bronzes, engraved.
  • Seppas : guilloches brass. Itodome and shitodome : double brass.
  • Tsuka in jackfruit wood, length 145mm, fully wrapped by rayskin and braided in Japanese silk. Brass menukis.
  • Beautiful and very elegant saya made by jackfruit wood, partially covered with rayskin, the rest is black structured lacquer.
  • Water buffalo horn koiguchi, kurigate and kojiri.
  • Total length 434mm. Weight 476gr.
  • Fully removable.
